Reptiles of the Osa

In one of the most biologically dense places on earth, it's safe to say there are many different critters living around here. While reptiles aren't everyone's cup of tea, they are still very special and important facets of the greater ecosystems here on the peninsula. Between reptiles and amphibians the Osa Peninsula houses over 116 different species, and new species are still being discovered.

While it is unlikely that you run into a dangerous reptile here on the property, we do acknowledge that this rainforest is their home, and we always advise our guests to look where they are stepping and to always use a flashlight when walking around at night.
